This combination is an excellent solution for bringing legumes into the diet in a modern and easy-to-digest form. White beans are an exceptional source of soluble fiber and resistant starch, which selectively nourish beneficial bacteria in the gut, thus supporting a healthy microbiome and strong immunity.
Garlic and lemon are not just flavor enhancers; the sulfur compounds in garlic and vitamin C in lemon work together to support the cardiovascular system and reduce oxidative stress. Spinach brings a valuable intake of magnesium and folate, critical minerals for the body's energy processes.
Light feta completes the dish with a dose of protein and calcium, without excessively increasing saturated fat intake. It's a balanced meal that provides long-lasting satiety due to carbohydrate complexity, being ideal for people who want to keep their weight under control without compromising on taste.
