Ingredients
- chicken breast 140 g
- sweet potato 170 g
- green beans 120 g
- oil 4 g
- salt, pepper, paprika
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into equal pieces and the sweet potato into cubes (to ensure even cooking).
- In a bowl, mix the chicken and sweet potatoes with the 4 g of oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Paprika adds not only color but also capsaicin with antioxidant properties.
- Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 25-30 minutes.
- In the last 10 minutes of cooking the chicken, add the green beans to the tray (or prepare them separately steamed if you prefer them crunchier). Oven cooking will give them a slightly caramelized texture.
- Serve the dish warm, making sure to include all the natural juices left in the tray, which are rich in flavors.
This combination is an optimal solution for maintaining physical and mental performance. Sweet potato is a superior source of slow-release carbohydrates and beta-carotene, providing steady energy without causing sudden blood sugar spikes. Its fiber, together with that from green beans, supports intestinal health and prolongs the feeling of satiety.
