Ingredients
- wholemeal bread 40 g
- avocado 80 g
- lemon juice 1–2 tsp
- mozzarella 80 g
- tomatoes 150 g
- fresh basil 4–5 leaves
- olive oil 5 g
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Lightly toast the wholemeal bread until it becomes crispy on the outside.
- Put the avocado in a bowl and mash it with a fork until you get a smooth or slightly rustic cream.
- Add the lemon juice, a little salt and pepper over the avocado, then mix well.
- Spread the avocado cream on the toasted wholemeal bread.
- Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into slices.
- Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately on the plate, then add the basil leaves.
- Drizzle the caprese salad with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Serve the bread with avocado cream alongside the caprese salad.
