Ingredients

  • wholemeal bread 40 g
  • avocado 80 g
  • lemon juice 1–2 tsp
  • mozzarella 80 g
  • tomatoes 150 g
  • fresh basil 4–5 leaves
  • olive oil 5 g
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  • Lightly toast the wholemeal bread until it becomes crispy on the outside.
  • Put the avocado in a bowl and mash it with a fork until you get a smooth or slightly rustic cream.
  • Add the lemon juice, a little salt and pepper over the avocado, then mix well.
  • Spread the avocado cream on the toasted wholemeal bread.
  • Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into slices.
  • Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately on the plate, then add the basil leaves.
  • Drizzle the caprese salad with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the bread with avocado cream alongside the caprese salad.
